Just a smart choice for shopping in Nags Head with decent value for money. The bed was comfortable for a good night's sleep. Bring your own towels.

the dolphin oceanfront motel was a perfect spot for our family getaway. the room was clean and comfy with a nice tile floor, ideal for our pet. the pool was great too! the staff quickly replaced our ac unit when it failed, which was impressive.

the parking was a bit cramped. but the beach access made it worth it! loved the decor in the room, especially the retro mini fridge. also enjoyed the comfy adirondack chairs right outside our door.

Staying at the Dolphin was a blast for our family! The oceanfront room was spacious, and we loved that the beach was just steps away. My two teenagers enjoyed snorkeling and exploring the nearby fishing piers, while we took in the beautiful view every morning.

My children wished for more entertainment options for families.

We stayed for 3 nights in a Standard Queen Room and enjoyed the convenience of nearby dog-friendly beaches. The staff were welcoming, and we loved exploring the local sights. For future guests, check out local restaurants with outdoor seating to enjoy meals with your furry friend!

This place suits me perfectly! I love the free Wi-Fi, pet-friendly policy, and the outdoor dining area. On my first stay, the helpful staff gave me great currency tips! I'll be back for another holiday.

The room was cozy and had a cute decor. The fridge and coffee maker were great for morning snacks. We had plenty of shelf space for our stuff, and the AC worked well, which I appreciated. However, the bathroom was pretty small, and the shower felt cramped. The beach access right outside was a major win, though, and the room was clean even if it had a few flies lingering around. Overall, it was a decent spot, but the towels could definitely use an upgrade!

Being just steps from the beach was fantastic for fishing and catching sunrises. Our ocean view room was the highlight!

Recommend it for pet lovers

The place was surprisingly clean and every bit of it was updated with that new feel like I just walked into a different time and the ceramic tile flooring was a big plus, so much easier to keep clean with a dog and the staff was very friendly and they treated us like family I swear I felt like I belonged there among strangers. Also having direct access to the beach was unbelievable we just opened our back sliding door and boom right there was the sand and ocean only a few steps away, it made everything feel like paradise.

It was a bit on the pricey side but still worth every penny, no doubt about that.

Had a great time! This place is right on the beach and super dog-friendly, which we loved. The staff were really nice and helped us find local restaurants. The outdoor dining area was a plus for chilling at night.
